Governor Ed initiated a systematic process of localizing poverty reduction efforts

To address poverty cases in the province, Governor Ed initiated a systematic process of localizing poverty reduction efforts.

Through the Municipal and Barangay Affairs Program, the Provincial Government assists in the development of barangays, construction of projects, multi- purpose buildings, and other essential infrastructures for community development.

This program also provides support to the Best Performing Barangay/ Municipalities Incentives Program, Subsidies and Donation, Ugnayan sa Barangay, Literacy Program for Locally Paid Teachers (LPTs), Administrative Services and Maintenance of Governor Sub-Offices.

Governor Gadiano focused on poverty reduction in promoting the welfare of the people in the delivery of basic services. This systematic process of localizing poverty reduction efforts aims to ensure that process for adequate, efficient, and prompt delivery of basic services to the poor are in place.
